KAAP is seeking a Foundation Operations Manager.

JOB SUMMARY:  Provide strategic management for the Kansas Pediatric Foundation, the charitable arm of the Kansas Chapter, American Academy of Pediatrics. Manage all operations of the Turn a Page. Touch a Mind. (TAP-TAM) early literacy program, seek out partnership opportunities, organize the annual fundraising plan, and manage the donor database. Provide administrative support to staff as needed. Candidate must be willing to learn new things and be a team player. This is a work from home position that will be approximately 30 hours per week.

Minimum Education and Experience:  Required Education/Experience:  – Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management or any related field. 
Preferred:  – Experience in the non-profit organization.  – Experience in project management.  – Experience with development or sales.  – Ability to work independently.  – Proven organizational skills and the ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.  – Customer service skills and the ability to positively interact with partners, TAP-TAM sites and KAAP members.  – Possesses a sense of responsibility to make sure all details have been covered and deadlines are met. 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:  – Knowledge of project management concepts.  – Excellent interpersonal/communication skills.  – Excellent written communications skills.  – Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) and electronic communication.  – Able to take direction, be flexible, work independently, and think big about how the organization can grow.
