Dr. Dustin Wallace is a licensed psychologist who specializes in the assessment and treatment of youth with chronic pain, their parents, and their families. His doctoral training was in Seattle, after which he moved to Omaha for residency, and then completed a fellowship focused on pediatric psychology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Shortly after coming to Kansas City, he co-developed the Rehabilitation for Amplified Pain Syndromes (RAPS) program with Dr. Cara Hoffart, for which he is currently the Director of Behavioral Health. In addition to clinical work in that program and the Children’s Mercy pain clinic, Dr. Wallace has published 26 papers, primarily centered on understanding youth with chronic pain and their families and improving treatment.
