Giving Tuesday: Donate to KPF

GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

For this year’s #GivingTuesday, we ask that you make a charitable donation to the Kansas Pediatric Foundation during our annual appeal.

KPF Annual Appeal

The Kansas Pediatric Foundation’s annual appeal enables our flagship programs, Turn a Page. Touch a Mind®, and the Pediatrician in Action Fund to impact and improve child health in Kansas. TAP-TAM brought literacy education to 7 new sites and collectively all sites will hand out 180,000 books to Kansas children in 2023. Nearly $10,000 in funding from 2022 supports two (2) KAAP member pediatricians’ innovative ideas to foster children’s creativity, and the second utilizes community building to improve immunization rates in immigrant populations in western Kansas.

The Kansas Pediatric Foundation (KPF) also provides the foundation for the Kansas Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (KAAP) and our members to advocate for state and national policies that give every Kansas child the chance to grow up healthy and thrive. In 2023, our collective efforts paved the way for the Child Abuse Review and Examination Network. This game-changing, state-funded program provides a coordinated medical response to address child abuse and neglect in Kansas.

But our journey doesn’t stop here. Join us today to protect our most precious resource—our children. Be part of the change to create a lasting impact by making a donation to KPF today!
