Dr. Kelly Kreisler is a board-certified general pediatrician who has been in practice since 2002. Dr. Kreisler has worked on research and quality improvement with immigrant and refugee populations for over a decade. She is active in advocacy work and serves on numerous boards, including the board of directors of the Kansas Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, where she is the immigrant health liaison and disaster preparedness coordinator. Dr. Kreisler is currently an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Kansas University Medical Center and the Chief Medical Officer for Vibrant Health, a federally qualified health center, where approximately 70% of the patients are best served in a language other than English. She is leading their clinical efforts around COVID 19 and working to ensure equitable care and improved outcomes for the diverse community in this area.
