Dr. Hayley Hancock is a pediatric cardiologist and is currently faculty at Children’s Mercy Kansas City, with expertise in congenital heart disease and pediatric cardiac imaging. Originally from the Kansas City area, she completed her Pediatric Residency at the Children’s Hospital Colorado and Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Dr. Hancock is the Medical Director of the Cardiac High Acuity Monitoring Program (CHAMP) at Children’s Mercy Kansas City. Her research interest lies in parental stress and the role of pediatric palliative care in our complex congenital heart disease populations that require chronic disease care, namely the single ventricle population.
