I am a board certified general pediatrician serving families at KU Medical Center. My passion lies in the acutely ill child where I am allowed to serve patients in our pediatric same day clinic as well as General Pediatric inpatient unit. I additionally enjoy assisting families in the transition from healthy newborn through their childhood milestones through work in the full term nursery and my faculty clinic. I have a passion for assisting in the education of medical students and residents serving as an institutional liaison for the University of Kansas Medical Center within the Academic Pediatric Association and am working to expand and refine my leadership skills through various activities within the American Academy of Pediatrics on both a state and national level. In addition to my career that I love, I am blessed to have a wonderful family including my husband, step daughter and rambunctious nearly year old son. We enjoy spending time as a family outdoors and attending sporting events, Go Sporting KC!
