Dr. Claire Hickey is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Child Adversity and Resilience at the Children’s Mercy Hospital/ University of Missouri- Kansas City (UMKC) School of Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Hickey is board certified in General Pediatrics. She is the Medical Director of the Foundations Foster Care Clinic within the SCAN Clinic at Children’s Mercy Hospital. Dr. Hickey completed medical school at UMKC School of Medicine, followed by residency at Children’s Mercy Hospital. She enjoys caring for underserved and high risk children and building partnerships among multidisciplinary team members caring for children in foster care.
