KidsAndCars.org (KAC) is a national nonprofit working to save children’s lives in and around vehicles. KAC makes available free materials and encourages physicians to share these life-saving resources directly with families, via patient portals, in waiting & exam rooms, etc.

The Look Before You Lock (LBYL) program is aimed at preventing child hot car tragedies. The last 2 years have been the worst years in history for children dying in hot cars with 107 lives lost. LBYL materials help parents understand how hot car deaths can happen to even loving, responsible parents and provide proactive safety tips.
