With an impressive career spanning over three decades in the non-profit, healthcare, and public health sectors, Denise has demonstrated a strong commitment to driving policy, effecting systemic change, and promoting health equity. Important KanCare Deadline

Families who rely on KanCare for insurance need to know that their address and phone numbers must be up to date in the KanCare system before the unwinding of the Medicaid continuous coverage requirements on April 1st or they are in danger of being unenrolled from their plan and without a source of medical care payment. Families can call their MCO—Sunflower, United Community Plan, or Aetna Better Health (phone number on their Kancare card) – to update their information. Now they can also update this information by using the new tool on https://kancare.ks.gov/. CARE Provider ECHO

CARE Training  It takes a team with a coordinated, comprehensive medical response to protect Kansas children from abuse and neglect.
