Dr. Angela Myers completed her medical degree in 2001 at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine where she was recognized with the Laura L. Backus, M.D., Memorial Award for Excellence in Pediatrics. Following her pediatric residency and fellowship in Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Children’s Mercy Kansas City, she completed a master’s degree in Public Health with distinction from the University of Kansas. She is currently a Professor of Pediatrics at UMKC School of Medicine and the Division Director of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Children’s Mercy, Kansas City. Dr. Myers serves as the immediate past chair for the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society Training Program Committee, and serves on the American Board of Pediatrics, Pediatric Infectious Diseases Subboard.
