AAP Unveils “Blueprint for Children” To Guide Next President

The AAP has put together an comprehensive document for the next President of the United States called the “Blueprint for Children, how the next president can build a foundation for a healthy future“. The Blueprint includes a comprehensive overview of specific federal policy recommendations to promote healthy children, support secure families, build strong communities, and ensure that the United States is a leading nation for children.

Looking ahead to Election Day, one thing is clear – our children need leaders who act with their needs in mind. With today’s release of the Blueprint, the Academy, along with 10 endorsing health and medical organizations, have put forward a vision for how the 45th president of the United States and the federal government can do just that.
