Are you Curious???

Are you asking “Why?” about all the “Little Friends” you see, each day?

If the answer was “YES!!” to either question, then PROS is for you!

PROS projects are geared toward answering the most perplexing and troubling questions  for kids, especially trying to find ways we can improve the lives of our patients.

PROS has had many published research efforts, and has an important piece in the field, at this time.  Please go to www.aap.org, under PROS for a detailed listing.

A PROS study example:

The Adolescent Health in Pediatric Practice Study (AHIPP) is looking at our ability to impact smoking and social media use in adolescents.  I have participated in the pilot study and in the present study.  I have particularly enjoyed the social media part, as it has opened up several great conversations with my teens.  It doesn’t take much time out of the office day, and I feel it is a well designed study.  For more information go to www.aap.org, or you can email me at gmcfarland@ashleyclinic.com
